Tzolkin - The Sacred Cycle of the Maya Calendar and its application to personal astrology
The foundation of the complex calendar system of the Maya is, and has always been, the ‘Tzolkin’—a mystical calendar that gives the measure of sacred time. It is the oldest continuous calendric tradition in the world, having run unbroken for at least 2500 years.
It can be said to define and structure the very nature of Time, overseeing our collective & personal unfolding.
Time is alive and sacred.
In this presentation, we will explore its teachings in simple concepts and simple words.
We will also delineate the nature of each of its 20 signs; signs that have been rising, day after day, since the beginning of Time…
But how can we use it—with respect—as a powerful tool for harmonious and conscious living? And so we will look at how the Tzolkin works in natal, predictive, and mundane astrology—illustrating with some striking examples.
Enough space will be given for questions and feedbacks in this interactive, no-nonsense, exciting presentation.
