Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy helps to restore useful physical functionality following disabling accidents and sickness. The goal of occupational therapy is to assist the patient in achieving the maximum level of independent function. Patients include persons suffering from strokes, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, arthritis, head injuries, amputations, burns, hand injuries, people with visual, auditory and speech problems.

The primary tool of the occupational therapists is the active involvement of the patient in therapeutic tasks and activities which, while improving function, help the patient learn to apply the newly restored or impaired function in meeting the demands of daily living.

Osteopathy

This modality works on the principle that the musculo-skeletal structure is the key to your health and that all muscles, nerves, bones, and organs are interrelated. It requires an understanding of the anatomy, physiology, embryology and clinical medicine to investigate how and where you have injured yourself and how that injury manifests itself as symptoms. Using manual manipulation, an osteopath gently probes and examines your musculo-skeletal system. Any pain and restriction signals an impaired function.

Oxygen & Ozone Therapy

Increased air pollution means lack of proper oxygenation and a weakened immune system. Ozone therapy uses Ozone, a more active form of oxygen, to boost the immune system and heal a variety of diseases brought on by lack of proper oxygenation. It involves adding ozone to air or liquids and introducing them into the body. This helps to carry oxygen directly to the tissues and eliminates bacterial, viral and fungal infections.
